Lydia & Matt really wanted their wedding day to be a celebration that all of their friends and family could enjoy. It took them a while to settle on a venue but they knew that Black Walnut was right when they first visited it, the grounds are amazing and the facilities made it so easy to plan their day. They really loved the glasshouse and wanted to have their ceremony in there and make it a real feature.
Planning the florals for these guys was made easy, with Lydia being a creative herself, she knew the look she and Matt were wanting to achieve. After the first consultation it was clear to me that attention to detail was needed for their day. This is something that hand-picked thrives on and excels at.
The florals and styling played an important role in every aspect of Lydia and Matt’s day. The look for their ceremony was an enchanted garden in an asymmetrical design using the most amazing spring flowers such as tulips, anemones, ranunculus, stock and foxgloves. The look carried over to the entranceway and then toned down to have a more minimalistic look for their reception.
