What days do you operate?

We deliver our gift bouquets Monday to Friday, except on public holidays and over Christmas and New Year. We will also operate on certain holidays that fall on weekends, such as Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day. Our weekends are full of weddings and events and we are unable to deliver gift bouquets.

How much notice do you need for orders to be processed?

Ideally as much notice as possible but a minimum of 24hours.

Where do you deliver and how much is it?

Tauranga $10 and surrounding suburbs & Mount Maunganui $15, Papamoa & Papamoa Beach $20, Te Puna & Omokoroa $25, Rural & wider $30, Katikati $35, Waihi $35

When will my bouquet be delivered and can I have it delivered at a certain time?

Our bouquets are collected by our friendly flower courier company “Delicate Deliveries” between 11am - 1pm. We do not offer morning deliveries to Mount or Papamoa, these all go in the afternoon. Any cut of times for business addresses please let us know the latest time for delivery. If you need a morning delivery please order in advance so we can plan accordingly and do our best to action this ourselves.

What if I want to send multiple bouquets to different addresses?

Where you require multiple bouquets delivered to different addresses, please specify in the delivery instructions field at checkout. You will only need to pay for one delivery. Preferably select the furthest away address at checkout ie; one going to inner city plus one to Papamoa - please select Papamoa delivery cost.

What if nobody is home?

If nobody is home to receive the flowers, we’ll do our best to find a discreet and shady spot for them and will always leave them in water. If you have any special delivery instructions you can let us know at checkout; e.g. any scary dogs or loose chickens to battle through.

What if I enter the wrong address when ordering?

Please contact us immediately so we can try and fix it for you. We will call you if it becomes obvious that we have an incorrect address. If the problem cannot be resolved you may end up having to pay for redelivery the following day once the correct address is known.

Do you have a shop?

No we don't have a shop but you can arrange to pick up by appointment from our home based studio. 26a Carlton Street, Bellevue, Tauranga. If you select the pickup option we will contact you to arrange a time that suits us both.

Can I select which flowers I get?

Please order well in advance (1 week) if you are wanting a specific flower. This way we can order these from Auckland. The flowers we get in are based on what's flourishing at the moment so these change frequently depending on seasons, markets and growers. You can choose what vibe you want with green & white, patels, vibrant or florists choice and we will select the blooms that we have in stock to best represent your order.

Do you sell anything that’s not on your website?

Yes, we can do bespoke arrangements in dried or fresh. Please contact us to arrange.

What is your returns/refund policy?

For whatever reason, if you are unhappy with a product provided by Hand-Picked, please phone Kelly directly on 0279755517 on the day of delivery or within a 24 hour time frame so we can act quickly to resolve the issue. Depending on the circumstances, we may provide an alternative substitute product or refund the price of the product This will be determined on a case by case basis in our complete discretion.
